About the Artist
Lidyanis Torres-Montanez
My name is Lidyanis Torres-Montanez. I am a senior, class of 2018, currently attending Ronald Reagan I.B. high school. I am involved in school as much as possible. I am also a student athlete, participating in sports such as track and cross country running. Since I could remember, I had always been drawn to art. I didn't really get it from anyone, it was always just something I liked doing. During times when I felt like things weren't going as planned, I found myself doing art. It was a way to help me cope with everything that was going on- not to mention a great pastime. I am a bubbly character and a devoted artist who's aspiration in life is to help others cope through artistic relief and give a new perception. I create visual art, as well as act, write, and dance. Visual art is by far my favorite hobby. During my free time here are some visual art mediums that I use:
I believe that there is no limitation when it comes to selecting an art medium or creating an art piece. I don't limit myself to just one thing. With these, I've created things like murals, dresses, child size infrastructures, and even tattoo sketches. |
